About the Author

Clay McConkie passed away in 2017. He was a native of Utah, and a teacher by occupation, having taught in the Salt Lake City Schools for thirty years. He received a B.A. from Brigham Young University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Utah. He and his wife have served together on 4 LDS missions, and are the parents of four children.
